Check out our unique summer program!

EL DUSTBERRY RANCH SUMMER CAMP
at CAMP JOSEPHO 2009

This summer, learn ALL ABOUT HORSES and the basics of Natural Horsemanship, horse care and riding skills at El Dustberry Ranch at Camp Josepho in the Pacific Palisades!

Your child will learn to communicate with our rescue horses and develop relationships with

them built on mutual trust and respect. Our rescued horses help teach children about respect

and appreciation for nature and for one another in a positive, loving and safe environment.

Confidence, self esteem, awareness and leadership skills increase as campers are motivated to set goals and then attain them. An “I can do anything!” attitude prevails as campers are challenged by new experiences. We strive to bring out the best of each child.

We will also offer unique arts and crafts projects, drama and musical activities daily. We will keep enrollment to a maximum of 20 participants to ensure an intimate camp experience where new friendships are created and current ones are enhanced and strengthened.

Ages: 5- 12

Enrollment limited to 20 participants per weekly session

Camper to counselor ratio 3 to 1

Hours: 10 – 3:00

A great day at the ranch!

On Sunday, May 25th we had a wonderful and full day at El Dustberry. Cheyenne, Linda and Lisa were lead teaching and I helped out... Our regular Sunday clients had their therapeutic or Natural Horsemanship sessions, and then we had a scout horsemanship Merit Badge Program-  I taught the academics for the first hour and then Cheyenne & Linda did the hands - on with horses. The scouts happily received their Merit badge and all went home happy!
Any one want to volunteer? We always welcome help on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and would love to have you!

First Blog!

Hi all! My name is Robin Rapaport and I am very excited to be blogging! I am the owner and founder of El Dustberry. El Dustberry is a non-profit organization with a very special mission. Our mission is to provide a natural environment with the opportunity and tools to empower individuals in making life-enhancing connections with horses and nature. I have created this blog to share this mission with the world and reach out to make new connections.
