JJ Update

Dear Friends,

This is where we will send our wonderful therapy horse JJ once we get his room & board covered. This is the Equistar Farm in Sebastopol.

It is lush and green and just perfect for him. He will be looked after and given his supplements by the owner.

We still need $2,400!! We have raised almost $500!! Every dollar helps get JJ to his beautiful new home.

About Us

El Dustberry was founded in 2001 to originally serve cancer patients, people with special needs, and youth at risk. Since its inception, we now provide services for all. El Dustberry is named after the founder's father Elliot, friend Dusty, and cousin Barry, who all lost their lives to cancer. El Dustberry provides equine-assisted therapeutic activities which means we use nature and horses to learn and heal. We have specialized programs for cancer patients, those with autism, ADD, depression and grief, behavioral issues, and more. We teach by using gentle and natural horsemanship and bareback riding, with our rescue horses being the foundation of all our programs. We also do outdoor classrooms for schools and youth groups.
